How To Vote

Think of it as practice for the election, but with cooler candidates.

1. Step One

   

   There are three options to signing-up to vote for the Webbys, but the easiest ones are through your Twitter or Facebook accounts. Simply choose how to sign-up, fill in the blanks and get ready to vote! Note: If you choose email, you may have to verify your account by clicking a link in an email that will be sent when you sign-up.

2. Step Two

   

   Once you're logged-in, click the Websites button near the top and look for Associations. This is the category that JAC has been nominated in for downtownstjohns.com. Of course, you can browse the other categories to see how impressive our fellow Webby nominees really are. You might even recognize a few names such as Justin Bieber, Arcade Fire and Old Spice.

3. Step Three

   

   You'll be given five choices in the Associations category, and Downtown St. John's will be one of them. Feel free to check out the other sites by clicking "Visit Website" below each logo, they're all great. Once you've made your decision, click "Vote" next to Downtown St. John's (that is your decision, right?). You're done! Of course, you can post a message through Facebook or Twitter about your vote if you think your friends would be interested. Finally, please let us know what you think about the site by posting a comment.

  You've followed in the footsteps of so many brave explorers, such as John Cabot and the Vikings, by crossing the Atlantic, but have your adventures led to Newfoundland as theirs once did?

  You've built your business on communication, transportation and so much more, but where would it all be if Marconi had not journeyed to St. John's, Newfoundland with the first transatlantic signal following close behind him?

  Well, we're writing to you to say we have a space reserved for you here. The province of Newfoundland and Labrador is known for its hospitality, culture and people, but rarely do we take reservations.

  Well, we're happy to say that you're invited to see and taste it all for yourself. In the province known for its hospitality, unique culture and culinary experiences there is a space with your name on it. As the oldest English-founded city in North America, St. John's has been welcoming visitors for centuries, and its rare to have a reservation.
